I want to pay with only the money on my credit card, but when I pay for it, it takes all the money from my account, and uses the credit card as the funds.
how do I stop it from taking money from my paypal balance and only pay with my credit card?
because it say paypal preffered on ebay but no option for credit card.

You can not, Paypal will automatically use your available balance for the purchase, if your available balance is not enough, then it will take the remainder of the balance from your backup funding source, in this case your credit card. That is just the way paypal works, the only option you have is to transfer your available balance to the bank account, then pay for your purchase.
When you check out there is an option that you choose before clicking pay now. You can choose additional funding sources, it is usually available on the second page I think after you click make payment and then you see your invoice. The place where the description of the item is and etc, look there you should be able to find a link there…
Hope this helped.
One option you may consider is going to a local store and buying an ebay gift card using the credit card. These don’t usually add any fee and quite often you will get fuel perks for the purchase. plus, you will be protected by paypal in the unlikely event that you have an issue with the seller.
that only means that the seller prefers paypal
they will still get paid VIA paypal
but when you go to the paypal site
you will send a option that says additional funding options
you can chose that option and then use your credit card
so dont worry about it
the seller wont know how you paid
