I have sold an item which has been posted to Nigeria and paypal is asking me for a tracking code, where do i find the tracking code or bar-code, because i have no idea. Because paypal wont release payment until i do this. Please can you help me.

Nigeria sounds very dodgy, as a rule never trust anyone from Nigeria is where most alleged scams originate from claiming people have won money on the lottery etc. Anyway, back to your tracking question, when you sent the item you should have received a reciept that has a prefix number on it. Did you use international recorded delivery? If so, give Paypal that tracking number. Can’t think of anything else, and all I can say make sure you check where you send the parcels in future and check buyer feedback because you don’t know who to trust these days. Good luck!!!
This is a number that is on your receipt. If you had delivery conformation, or had the item insured, then there will be a long number on your receipt, this is called a tracking number.
More than likely your were scammed if you sold an item that was delevered to Nigeria. Never sell to Nigeria on Ebay. More than likely they sent you a fake paypal statement and you were never really paid for the item. Paypal has a good phone customer service. Just give them a call and they will tell you what you need.
it will be the tracking number provided by the post office / courier , on your parcel.
i thought EVERYBODY KNEW to STEER WELL CLEAR OF NIGERIA ON EBAY …. scammers personified …. lol
