I got a paypal account last year to buy stuff on e-bay and I havn’t used it since. I keep getting e-mails from paypal saying that people are trying to hack into my account. And I just got an e-mail that a new e-mail adress was added to my account that I did not authorize. If you are thinking of opening a paypal account, I would highly discourage anyone from doing it.

After you log-in to paypal go to Profile and after you click that, under Account Information click Close account. Paypal is actually a pretty good site. As long as you don’t give out your email too freely and of course not your password! I’ve been using paypal for a few years now and so far have not had any serious problems.
Log in at http://www.paypal.com/ and in your account settings, you should be able to cancel your account. But the e-mails from paypal might keep coming so you may want to block their address or have their e-mails sent to the Junk folder.
