Maybe I didn’t understand your question, but you can’t really add more money to your credit card.
Credit card is limited by credit limit. That’s why, paypal makes you include checking account as backup, just in case you can’t pay with just credit card.
There is ways for you to add more money that your credit limit.
Like, buy something with your credit card, wait a day or two, pay off your credit bill, then return the merchandise.
You get surplus past your credit limit.
But, to be honest, I know I was able buy something over my credit limit (simply just explaining my situation to banker and making payments that over the total bill), but I am not too sure if paypal recognize surplus in your credit limit.
Buy more things.
