I just added my credit card to my paypal account. But I can’t figure out how to add funds with a credit card. Does it just take money off the card as you pay from your paypal account?
Do I have to add funds? If so, how?
Also, I use a prepaid mastercard, and I do have money on it at the moment. Paypal accepted it as a valid card.

Don’t be worried, worried.
Paypal is just a safe harbor for you to store your credit card. Once you purchase something and use paypal to pay you will have the option of what payment source you would like to use to complete your transaction. I’m guessing your paypal account is tied into a bank account and if this is the case then it will already be on a default setting to pay from your bank account just as you would use your debit card. If this is the case simply click on the payment method drag down box and check the credit card you would like to use.
Prepaid cards are ok and if funds are insufficient it should notify you immediately and will not complete the transaction.
If the payment is set to use the card then it’ll take the money out of the card every time you make a payment.
If not, it’ll send an e-cheque as the money will go out of the checking account and it’ll take a while to clear.
