If someone buys my item on eBay, and PayPal is the only method for receiving payment, how can I get paid? Is there a way to receive the money through PayPal, without having it added to your PayPal account balance? Can you transfer the money from your account balance to your bank account or something like that?

You can transfer your paypal account balance to your bank account that you signed up with for free. They’ll send you a check if you want, but it costs a dollar or so.
yea you can. you can do a transfer from your paypal acct to your bank account. It takes 2 days to process.

you can accept other forms of payment provided you have enough ebay points but most people wont buy unless you accept paypal. you can get a free account and link that account to your bank account (a very easy process) and then transfer money between the two seamlessly. to verify your bank account paypal will deposit two small (less than $0.50) amounts and you will tell them how much they were to verify that is your account. the money you receive will show up as a paypal balance until you withdraw it to your bank account.
