I had a paypal account a couple years ago that was frozen a few days after I opened it. I sold 2 Coach Handbags and a Guitar (my personal items), all buyers paid through paypal, and then my account was frozen. PP told me that it was frozen due to suspicious activity, and I would have to fax them all types of info including original sales receipts where I purchased the items. I actually dug up the receipts and all other requested info and faxed back to them in the designated timeframe.
However, they never would unfreeze my account. They held my funds for 6 months, and then gave them back to me. They closed the acct and never would tell me why.
Anyway, I am not selling as much on ebay because I don’t take PP. Can I sign up with a new Ebay ID, and then get a new bank acct number with a different address but my same name?
What are the odds they would close the second account?

They will catch the new one lock whatever financials that are on your account so you cannot re-register with those financials. Odds are highly against you. They may not catch it right away but they will catch. Resolve you previous issues.
