I want to sell a few items on ebay. How do I go about accepting paypal as a payment option? Do I need to sign up for a business account?

When you go through the listing process, it will ask you what payment methods you want to accept. Just choose paypal. You should already have an account set up so that you can enter the requested information. Ebay really walks you through the process.
Sign up for a regular(free) account at Paypal. However when you receive your first payment you’ll need to upgrade your account to business to get it. The fees are not that much. If you plan to sell a lot of things it won’t hurt you that much. Take all the fees involved into consideration when you price your item for sale. Listing fee(fixed), final sale fee(%), paypal fee(%).
