I’m afraid of runescape trying to take the payment, it failing, and them closing my account. Has anyone else done this, and does it work?

I would recommend that you use pay pal to pay for Runesape it is much safer then credit card.
a prepaid credit card? like a visa gift card or something like that? ive tried, it wont work… yes, it drains $5 of the money out of it when it fails, and it takes 7 days to put it back on, don’t worry, it will be put back.
anyway, you can get something called The Ultimate Game Card, it can pay membership for just about any online game, including runescape. you can but it at a few different stores including Rite-Aid, and if you live in america, 7-Eleven.
With your prepaid card, it will work, yes. However, I’d still recommend Paypal or some other method that automatically withdraws your monthly fee. With the card, though, I’ve had little experience with prepaid ones. I’d imagine (just common sense, here) that you could do the same-have them withdraw the monthly subscription fee.
I’ve been in that situation. For some reason, when I tried the paypal method, it didn’t work. However, you should be fine just using the card instead of using it through paypal. If it doesn’t work, however, give it a day or two, and try again.
i tryed doing it 8 times. they all declined on me…. i really dont know how. try e-mailing jagex support.
