My Debit MasterCard arrived today (2/13/09) I was just wondering if I need to activate it first to be able to put it on Paypal/Ebay? Please help.

Yes, you have to activate it by calling the number on the back or it won’t work.
Also, it will have to be verified with paypal, which takes 3-5 business days. Paypal will credit your debit account a few cents in 2 transactions. This will show up in your bank account as 2 deposits. You have to find out how much the deposits are.. Call your bank and find out how much . Get the exact amount of the credits and go to “confirm account” on your paypal. It will then guide you through.
