Does Paypal Ever Act Irregularly And Get Away With It?

分类: PayPal FAQ   时间: 2010-01-22   标签: , , , , ,

Recently I witnessed this scenario: user A buys something from user B, then a couple of weeks later sells something to user C. A & C become involved in a dispute and Paypal finds in C’s favor, ordering A to refund C. A does not refund C, so Paypal reverses A’s payment to B, removing the money from B’s account, transfers it back to A’s and then to C’S.
So B who is an innocent party loses a payment for an item they sold weeks before with no explanation from Paypal, and believes A just somehow took the money back.

NEVER EVER USE Paypal. I would not trust that bunch of idiots to sit the right way on a toilet seat.

Is this a real life scenario? – OR just a what if ?
If this happened I would call paypal and wouldn’t get off the phone until my money was back where it belonged – or i had spoken to the most senior manager available
    How dare they !

PayPal reversals are the biggest problem with paypal. Someone pays via paypal through thier bank account and then for some reason the bank account stops the transaction and then its gets reversed through paypal. Sometimes even weeks after the transaction has been completed..

Must admit I’ve never had any problems with paypal. They have been excellent at getting payments reversed for a service I paid for but was not as it claimed , when all other methods failed.
have you contacted them to ask for an explanation?
