Does Paypal Charge Additional Fees For Purchase Of Items With A Credit Card Linked To The Account?

I looked at the terms and conditions but it was hard to understand the breakdown of the fees. Let’s say I wanted to buy something off of ebay and the seller uses PayPal for payment. I purchase the item and the charge will then be relayed to my credit card. Is there additional fees that PayPal will add on top of purchase price?

PayPal never charges fees to the sender of the money.
PayPal charges the fees to the person that receives the money.
Seller on eBay for 8 years.

I was wondering this aswell since I saw a person selling something on eBay and requested the buyer pay by bank deposit as PayPal can be expensive… but I have bought a few items using my visa debit card through PayPal and I don’t think I have been charged anything extra

Nope. I use my credit card all the time via PayPal. No extra fees.
