Ebay and Paypal are owned by the same company. So really both know everything. To verify your paypal account all they want to do is make sure it is actually YOU. There are lots of scammers out there. All done for protection
E-Bay actually owns PayPal so they may be able to see everything. Read the privacy and security section and it should tell you.
Same company, it’s all safe as long as you use the site and not click on any links in emails. Always log in to the site… will save you alot of trouble!!
