Do You Need A Bank Account On Paypal To Receive Money From Ebay Buyers?

分类: PayPal FAQ   时间: 2009-08-03   标签: , , , , , , , ,

I got an email telling me to claim my money, though my balance is zero. Could this be because I have not verified a bank account to my Paypal?
Is there any other way to receive the money?

You must have your bank account verified through PayPal.

It might be a scam. Be careful, it might say its from PAYPAL but will be from a different person. If you know you have not made any transactions then it isnt your money, it might have been sent to on mistake or else its a scam.

No. You have to tie a bank account to your PayPal account if you wish to ‘withdrawl’ the funds. You can have an ‘account’ with PayPal that is not tied to a bank account but you will have to use all the money in the account though PayPal as you’d have no way to transfer it out.
    Hope this helps!

It’s a phishing mail. Don’t click on any links, check the address in the top bar, it should say http://www.paypal.com/…., if it has lots of nonsense its a fake email/website. Mark it as spam and report it to you email site. There is also a page on paypal where you can report it and theres special toolbars you can download on there too to avoid being scammed by fake sites!

No but you do need a bank account to withdraw the money to get it in your hands.
