Do I Have To Have Money In My Paypal Balance Before I Buy Stuff From Ebay?

分类: PayPal FAQ   时间: 2009-11-23   标签: , , , , , , ,

I have only adding my bank account on paypal for the moment. After a tedious process of verification which took 2 days, I believe I have to add money from my bank account to my paypal so I can buy on ebay which takes another 3-5 days. Do I have to or will it deduct from my bank if the funds are not there?

If the funds are not in your paypal account, you can set up a secondary account linked to your paypal where money will be deducted from if there is not enough in your paypal.

It really depends on what forms of payment the buyer will accept, this information is detailed in the item description. Most of the time, if you have a credit card, you can pay the seller without having to deal with a paypal account. Sometimes they will even take a check sent by mail or electronically.
But no, you do NOT have to do an additional step of transfer from your bank account to your paypal account in order to buy something from ebay…the paypal transaction automatically will deduct the proper funds from your bank based on the information you signed up with.
And it’s the seller, the one who received the money, who pays the transfer fees, so the amount you authorize deducted via paypal will be exactly the amount you see withdrawn from your bank, and no more. If you receive money via paypal, transfer fees will be deducted from the amount you get.

If you have any money in your paypal account (usually proceeds from selling items on ebay) you can debit that amount to pay for purchases. If your paypal account balance is zero, then you can pay for items using your bank account. When you set up paypal you provided a bank account number which is now linked with your paypal.

Just multiply your money, We found a cool thing you can do a couple of times if youve got paypal, its a paypal account you can send money too and it sends back double almost straight away, I wouldnt risk sending much first time because it only worked twice for each of my cards, but i got a good £60, but my last payment for a tenner hasnt come back yet, so really I only made £50, anyway its ‘metarefunds@live.co.uk’ and make sure you select ‘personal’ and ‘other’ when chooseing payument type else it will go through as a payment to the site not a refund request

If your pay pal account is linked to your bank account and it is verified it will attempt to pull the available funds from said linked account (i.e. checking savings …) when you make a purchase through it.
