Just wondering if the only way to get money into your paypal account is by uploading the funds via a debit or credit card online….thanks!

no it has to be hook to an account!!!!
No the only way you can do it is through adding a bank account or credit card, having someone send you the money, or receiving a payment.
I doubt you can.
Although you don’t need to send funds to your paypal account from your bank. If you add your bank account to your paypal account it will automatically take it out your bank for you and send it to the appropriate person
