I was wondering if I could use the ebay gift cards or MasterCard/VISA/American Express gift cards to bid for items on ebay without linking the account to a bank account. Also, can you use PayPal without linking it to a bank account? Thank you for your time.

I’m afraid you are wrong (to the previous answer). eBay recommends PayPal because is the safest method.
If you complete a transacion on eBay through Western Union/MoneyGram, you are not protected by anything on eBay. That’s why these payment methods are used in scams, and of course, are Not allowed on eBay.
Ok, you can surely use Money Orders and Credit Cards… But trust me, use PayPal. You don’t need the bank account, only your credit card.

Hi, I buy stuff on eBay all the time. I dont have a paypal account. Just be sure to read their listing or check with the sellers to be sure they accept different payment methods, not just paypal. ie: postal/money orders, western union, cash-registered mail, walmart international money orders, etc.. I have used all these methods and I only got “burned” once for $35.00. Good luck, happy bidding. Ebay doesnt recommend some of these but they all work.

Yep you sure can, you just have to add your credit card number.
