If it’s got a VISA symbol, and if PayPal accepts VISA, I’m sure you could use the Green Dot VISA with PAYPAL.
sure can, thats what i use.
Like the previous answer says if it has a VISA emblem on it you should be able to use it any where that accepts VISA, however, you have special circumstances about if money you deposit is accredited to your account because I just went to http://ripoffreport.com and typed in Green Dot and came up with 7 allegations of questionable financial doings by green dot.
That being said, I’m about going to do something I’ve never done on-line before, I am going to recommend you a link. I have a pre-paid VISA which I use to pay bills on line, to buy on line, I use it at restaurants and at anyplace that takes VISA. I got my pre-paid visa through a local check cashing place, they are located on-line at http://netspend.com . My wife and I both got a card which cost us $9.95 for each card (one account) but it only cost us $9.95 a month total (not each) and we get unlimited purchases (if we have the money in the account), real time on-line balances and free direct deposit. You may have gotten yourself involved with a questionable company. Good Luck!
Paypal is blocking all prepaid cards. They’ve already blocked Green Dot.
If you’re having trouble with Green Dot write to the BBB and the bank (CB&T) that is behind Green Dot.
If you’re looking for another card – there are tons out there from Amex to Netspend, Rushcard, Virgin Card and the Babyphat card. Read reviews of prepaid cards at the prepaid card forum.
