For example can I print a gift certificate to a resteraunt or buy movie tickets. I am looking for something to do today and do not have a lot of cash. I do not have the paypal debit or credit card. Just the account. If you know of any good ideas I would really appreciate them! Please include the links if you have them. Thanks!

Without the PayPal Debit Card your choices are greatly restricted, but when there’s a will, there’s a way. In this case the Will is PayPal Plugin. PayPal Plugin is a free program that you download from within your PayPal account and it will place an icon on your toolbar. Once you have Plugin, you can make a purchase to anyone that accepts credit card payments whether they have a PayPal account or not. Now let’s say you want to order some pizzas for a nice family evening, simply call Pizza Hut and when they ask how you’d like to pay, just say you’d like to pay via credit card over the phone. At that time, simply click on the PayPal icon in your toolbar and login. Then click “generate secure card.” PayPal will generate you a one time use credit card number that you can use for your purchase. The funding source would be the funds in your PayPal balance. If you lack sufficient funds in your PayPal balance, you can also select a back-up funding source. Bottom line is, now you have your pizzas and you didn’t have to wait for a bank transfer. This will work with any company that’s willing to take a credit card payment over the phone like zoos, movie theaters, plays and concerts, and amusement parks.
To install PayPal Plugin, just login to your PayPal account and you’ll see the download link in the left-hand column of the Overview page. Good luck, have fun on your family day.

Well, yes and no. You can use your account to purchase the gift certicate from a site that offers it but you can’t send it to yourself. The feature only works if you send it to another email address. Have it sent to your other half’s email address because sign up is for people 18 years of age. The recipient will be asked to sign up first if the recipient email address is not registered. PP can hold up to 8 email addresses so i have to tell you that if the recipient email addy is also part of your account, it won’t take. Hope you enjoy valentine’s day! c”,)
i think if you don’t have any money in your PayPal account, then it takes few days to “clear”… So I don’t think you can get anything today. I only use PayPal for auctions, so I don’t know about other things…
