I want to transfer some money from to my paypal account from another paypal account linked to a bank account because I want to close the bank account. Can I keep the money in my paypal account?

Yes you can but remember they earn interest on that and you don’t! So its almost like you are loaning them money. Best to send to a family members bank and let them have it.
Much better to open your own personal bank account so you earn the interest and not someone else!
