I just added funds to my PayPal account and it says it will take 3-5 business days for it to clear. The auction for an item I want ends in 2 hours and the seller wants payment within 5 days. Can I still pay for the item with my PayPal account now?

Paypal won’t give the seller until your money clears. BTW, you can pay with a credit card through paypal (if your seller allows) so you can still pay and then use the money to pay off your charge card.

the only SAFE way to pay is to fund your purchase with your CREDIT CARD through PAYPAL!
if anything goes wrong, you then have the option of filing for a CHARGEBACK through the CC company.
