Can I Send Money From An Unconfirmed Bank Account On Paypal?

I want to buy an item on ebay, but it takes 3-5 days for paypal to confirm my bank account. I was wondering if I could send money to the ebay user from my account anyway? Or do I need to wait?
I know there’s some rules for different countries – - I’m in the US. Help appreciated! Thank you!
