I write online articles for websites that pay via PayPal. I live in a country that is not on PayPal’s supported list and therefore I cannot own a verified account. I thought of opening an account to receive payments and then sending the money to a friend’s verified account. Is it possible to do that? I already tried the PayPal FAQ; it was not helpful.

Yes, however most people will not sell to someone with a non-verified PayPal account … and most buyers are likley to be reluctant to bid as well ..
If you do that your account will probably get blocked by Paypal.
