I have noticed that PayPal is an option more and more to use for paying for things online. I admit, when I haven’t used a website to pay for something before I am glad to see the PayPal logo. I feel like it could just add a sort of “middleman” in paying for something. I have never had any problems with using PayPal for eBay. Thoughts? Experiences?

I think it’s an easy and fairly safe way to pay for an item. As a buyer, I can’t think of a downside. (Unless you don’t have a bank account or credit card – I don’t know if you can sign up without those!)
As a seller, you end up paying for the service. It makes sense – especially if you get a foreign buyer since they do the exchange rate stuff – but it’s kind of annoying since PayPal is owned by eBay – so you pay the company twice for the convenience.
They are a “middleman” sort of service – but they are pretty easy to use!
